The group moved from the woods to meet at the standing stone in a nearby field .A standing stone can be an ancient marker or guide stone. It may be a marker for a nearby stone circle or a further marker to the nearby Glen Lyon which is full of ancient stones.
There will be more of the stone below the surface than is shown above. It will have deep foundations.
