As we plan for the Metafari in Tanzania it shows that the idea has inspired others in ways we could not imagine. Kate Coutts from Unst, in Shetland heard about the Metafari. Suddenly we have the MetaSaga...... This is what Kate wrote today:
"I can't remember whether I first heard about metafari in a crowded Cafe Gandalfi in Glasgow or on the shores of Kinlochard in the wilds of Scotland but hear about it I did from a friend called Lesley Wilson (dreamcatcher)
It stuck in my head and when I returned home to Unst in Shetland I looked at the website. HHHmmmm!!!
The idea grew inside. In my heart as well as my head. Metaphor, storytelling, journey, pilgrimage ........ SAGA. We value our Norse roots here in Shetland.
In the month of June during a 4 day residential course for School Leaders METASAGA was born.
As you heard towards another metafari I may use the blog to share some of the ideas that emerged from the METASAGA"
