Hello Dar es Salaam, Karibu sana Leif. The journey can start!
Ethiopian Airlines flies from Stockholm 20:00 at night. You feel happy because there are so many empty seats in the plane and you gets lot of space. But landing in Rome takes that illusion away quickly as the plane fills up with people around midnight. The leg to Addis Ababa is surprisingly short, less than 6 hours. And then the final leg to Dar es Salaam. Around three hours later you enter out in the welcoming warmth of Dar es Salaam.
The strict ambitions soon collide with the development of events. We spend part of the afternoon to get my computer and phone connected to internet, and then we end up for dinner with our friend Regina Mchao and Rafaels neighbor Damas Bayanga who has agreed to lend a car to us.
There was an ambition earlier today to write something catching and intelligent. But now I am too tired for that. Good Night
