Metafari, Metasaga, MetaSpace

The last 49 postings were tagged with HiLightin Tanzania, the Market and feasability study that Rafael ole Moono and Leif Josefsson (me) was hosting in Tanzania together with HiNation - Linda Krondahl and Kristina Linhardt.

The Metafari blog seem to be able to live only on journeys or actual "Meta-events" but it is time for an update about what is going on. Yesterday was a good publicity day, when HiNation and our journey was published in an article in Computer Sweden. (Translated version here)

The article is commented by quite a few people. Mostly negative comments, like "You can buy cheeper in the hardware store" or "Another example of wasting taxpayers money" etc.

It's possibly so that the comments in papers are populated by people who thrive on negative thoughts, but from a Metafari perspective it is very interesting to study the assumptions we are so full of. The assumption that people in Tanzania are poor. And as a consequence of that the assumption that they cannot afford the product. And even if they could afford the product, there are many others that are much cheaper. And if government money is involved, there is an element of corruption.

One of the fundamendts of the Metafari ideas is around assumptions. That we leave our assumptions behind and travel on a journey of "not knowing".
When we are in that mindset, it is much more likely that we make discoveries beyound what we thought we knew.
